Born on August 22, 1971, in the serene landscapes of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality -7, Dhading, Nepal, Mr. Chhatkuli's roots in a rural haven ignited a profound passion for community development that has defined his life's purpose. Armed with a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Rural Development, Mr. Chhatkuli's educational journey served as the bedrock for his mission to uplift rural lives. His impactful tenure as a school teacher in the remote Chepang Village spanned three years, during which he not only nurtured young minds but also left an indelible mark on the community. Mr. Chhatkuli's commitment to effecting change led him into the realm of NGOs, where he dedicated nine years to implementing poverty alleviation projects. Notably, his involvement in a participatory forest management (PFM) Research project underscored his dedication to sustainable development. However, it was during his two-decade-long association with FOCUS-Nepal that he truly carved out his career path. Within this organization, he successfully oversaw the implementation of over 60 projects in collaboration with international and United Nations agencies. Mr. Chhatkuli's influence transcended organizational boundaries; he served as the former chairperson of NGO Federation-Dhading, providing him with a platform to advocate for positive change on a larger scale. Beyond the borders of Nepal, he embarked on journeys across the USA, Kenya, explored ten European countries, and delved into the rich cultures of Malaysia and Singapore in Asia, enriching his global perspective. His journey stands as a testament to the profound difference that a steadfast commitment to societal progress can make.
