Dr. Arjun Burlakoti is a highly accomplished individual with an extensive background in the field of Human Anatomy and Neuroanatomy. He currently serves as a senior lecturer at the University of South Australia (UniSA). Dr. Burlakoti is a medical graduate who has practiced general surgery. He holds a PhD in Medicine (Neurovascular Anatomy and pathology) from The University of Adelaide, South Australia.
With over 18 years of experience in teaching Anatomy and Neuroanatomy, Dr. Burlakoti has shared his expertise in various educational institutions and locations. These include Kathmandu Model Hospital School of Basic Sciences in Kathmandu, China's Weifang Medical University in Shandong Northeast China, South Australian Institute of Business and Technology, Adelaide Medical School (University of Adelaide), and the University of South Australia (since July 2010-continuing).
Throughout his career, Dr. Burlakoti has received recognition for his work, including prizes and awards. He has also been invited to deliver lectures and has made appearances on national and international television and media news networks, where he has shared information regarding his academic and research contributions.
One significant focus of Dr. Burlakoti's research has been the exploration of brain arterial network morphology, variations, asymmetries, and aneurysms. His investigations have involved the analysis of Radiographic Images, such as cerebral magnetic resonance angiography and computed tomography angiography images. These images were sourced from South Australian Universities and the South Australia Imaging Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
